Whether you make an immediate difference by giving to The Panther Fund or help secure the school's future through planned giving or a gift to the SCCS Education Foundation, your support enables SCCS to do what it does best: educate students with tradition, faith, and excellence while infusing their lives with Catholic values, a love of learning, and a commitment to serving others.

Panther Fund Giving Levels

Panther Fund Giving Levels recognize the total giving of supporters for the current fiscal year only (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025). Donors are recognized in the SCCS Annual Report, online, and in other formats.

For over 100 years, Sandusky Central Catholic School has benefitted greatly from the support of the Panther family and friends of the school who continue to invest in the tradition, excellence, and faith we are known for.

Tuition alone does not support all of our expenses. Philanthropy is a distinguishing factor in the excellence of SCCS and it provides a critical source of support for scholarships, technology in our classrooms, facilities for athletic programs, capital improvements for our beautiful campus, and special projects.  The generosity of our community truly fuels the SCCS experience, making it accessible to the many families that need support and helping us fulfill our mission of educating and preparing students to become student leaders now and in the future.

We greatly appreciate your choosing our school and students as worthy of your financial support.

There are multiple ways to give to SCCS, from mailing in a check to giving online to including the school in your estate plan. We encourage you to use the method that works best for you and best fulfills your intentions.

Ways to Give

  • One-time gifts are the simplest and most common way to donate to Sandusky Central Catholic School. You can mail in a check or make a gift online by clicking here. One-time gifts can be made to any scholarship, program, or capital initiative.

If you make your donation by check, please address it to Sandusky Central Catholic School, 410 West Jefferson Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.

  • Automated monthly giving is an easy way for donors to offer support year-round. Revenue from recurring donations is important for SCCS because donations become predictable and help SCCS improve long-term planning and decision making.

You may set up a monthly gift online by clicking here or you can contact the Development Office at 419.627.9422 to help you arrange your gift.

  • Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, the impact of your gift to the Panthers may be doubled or even tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

To arrange for a matching gift, submit the request via your employer's online matching gift portal, or complete a hard copy form and mail it to SCCS, 410 West Jefferson Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.

  • In certain instances, it may be preferable from an estate, financial, and tax planning perspective to consider long-term gift planning as the best way to make a gift. This can be accomplished through trusts, annuities, and wills.

  • Sandusky Central Catholic School hosts a number of exciting events that benefit the school.

The SCCS Auction takes place in The Den and includes dinner, drinks and hundreds of unique items available for bidding. Most items including vacations and experiences can be bid on online.

The Bishop Donnelly Golf Tournament benefits the Athletic Boosters and Education Foundation. This fun day of golf includes food, drinks and a great day at Plum Brook Country Club.

The CCAB Reverse Raffle is your chance to win $10,000. Only 300 tickets are sold to this event that takes place in the fall.

The SCCS Winter Gala takes place in December and is an evening of giving for special items and causes at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
