Band & Choir

The SCCS Music Program is a growing new wave of music education.

Our students are provided a musical experience that involves creativity, passion, artistic development and the appreciation of the given musical talents from God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit.

The Music Program consists of highly qualified music educators who have a giant appreciation for general music, band, choir and how it applies in both the sacred and secular settings.

Students will learn the building blocks of music involving movement, note reading, melody, solfège, instrumental performance, harmony, tone, musicianship, rhythm, ensemble playing and musical technique.

With these building blocks, the music program ties and makes connections with all of the other academic subjects in terms of hard work, discipline, teamwork, patience and self-reliance.
